A love story set against the backdrop of one of our society’s major issues: inheritance. When Akbar and Kiran fall in love they face a whole host of opposition from Akbar’s family. His father, a wealthy man, wants his son to ‘marry into money’ just as his two brothers did, so the family can amass even more wealth. While his two sisters-in-law secretly have him singled out as a possible groom for their respective sisters. Kiran meanwhile is also under pressure from her family to marry within the family as has always been their custom. With so many obstacles to contend with and so little support coming their way; the couple has only their love for each other to help them fight their families.
